Working drawings for decorative mouldings, 4 to 17 August 1802 (6)

The first five from the group of drawings listed above are all details which correspond to a different section of the overall plan and elevation shown in drawing 220 (particularly in relation to decorative mouldings). Drawings 218 and 219 show the library ceiling mouldings and are evidently larger/full size equivalents to that shown in the ceiling plan of drawing 220 - a four-armed 'starfish' for the square section and a narrower strip with four five compartments, three with rosettes bearing floral corbels. Drawing 219 corresponds in the linear aspects of the ceiling mouldings, dividing the room space up.

Drawing 217 shows a window very similar to that of the end wall looking onto the garden from the library in drawing 220. The only difference appears to be an extra horizontal glazing bar below the head of the window. Drawing 216, showing the window soffits relates to this section as well. The entablature shown in drawing 215 corresponds to that above the larger door onto the hall in drawing 220.
