Drawings 95 and 96 show the entrance front and the lawn front (respectively) with the Dance wing visible (although partly disguised by vegetation). The design was at this point still without the service wing that would eventually balance the Dance wing. Interestingly, the glass lantern that was included in previous designs under this scheme is now topped by a dome. The staffage that enlivens the drawings have the attenuated form typical of Gandy, gifted in many fields but not at figure drawing

Drawing 95 was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1801 with the caption 'A villa now building at Ealing'.
