Variant finished drawing and record drawing for a ceiling for the state bedchamber, 1772-73, drawing 56 executed with alterations (2)

The state bedchamber is located on the principal storey of the house in the south range, and between the tapestry room to the west, and the Etruscan dressing room to the east.

Adam volume 11/209 is closer to the executed ceiling in the state bedchamber, but it was given round, rather than oval medallions. The ceiling survives in situ.
