Preliminary design and three finished drawings for the walls of the great hall, June 1759, unexecuted (4)

The grotesque panels in these wall elevations are of the early Adam style, as at Hatchlands and Shardeloes, with thick foliage. There are, however, signs of a more developed style in the relieving arches, and screens of columns.
