Adam’s scheme for the house takes a similar form to Carr’s, but it has the principal front of the building on the side further from the flanking wings, and has therefore turned the house around.

The bedchamber storey plan for this scheme (Adam volume 33/89) and the elevation for the principal front (Adam volume 33/84) both correspond with Adam’s ground plan with a bow front (Adam volume 33/86), but the section corresponds with the variant with a porticoed front on an attached flier.
