Working drawing for interior finishings to the dairy and perspective of a similar design, one dated 9 November 1789 (2)

Drawing 10 is the last working drawing for the dairy and probably shows the executed design. The dairy has dressers lining two walls, as in drawings 8 and 9, but there are segmental-headed recesses beneath the counters rather than reeded wooden legs. Drawing 10 shows only two doors entering the room, as in the plan on drawing 7, suggesting that the executed dairy was built to the designs of both drawings 7 and 10. The ceiling has simple mouldings on an oval plan. On both walls, the round-headed windows are paired next to identical blind arches. Mouldings in dairies were kept simple to ease cleaning and thus minimize contamination.

Drawing 11 is similar to drawing 10 in its inclusion of segmental-headed recesses in the dressers, but the perspective shows a third door to the cheese store, as in drawings 5, 8 and 9. Drawing 11 could be an intermediary design made before drawing 10.
