An attempt to set the chronology of classical and biblical history on a more scientific footing. With a list of subscribers in volume I. Volume III includes an appendix (pp. 365--372, sig. *Aaa4) and a final leaf *Bbb containing an advertisement 'to the Public'. A further 'Advertisement' on the chronology of Eusebius is pasted onto p. [364] which is otherwise blank. ESTC t136688.

Copy Notes In the Soane copy, vol. III has the appendix (pp. 365--372) placed to follow the unpaginated 'Emendations and Additions' leaf and index, and the advertisement leaf *Bbb is present in duplicate. Volume I inscribed in ink on front pastedown: J.J. b.1686 d. 1763, i.e. the author's dates of birth and death.
