Prints correspondence relating to diplomatic exchanges between the two countries from shortly after the signing of the Treaty of Amiens on 27 March 1802 up to the recalling of the British ambassador from Paris on 18 May 1803. Count Sebastiani's Report was extracted from the 'Moniteur [universel]' of 30 January 1803.

Binding Later C19th half black roan, blind-tooled borders, marbled-paper boards, gilt-ruled, gilt-lettered spine.
