Half-sheet, folded, verso of conjugate leaf blank. Drop-head title. A later, undated version of the prospectus (q.v.), issued after completion of the first number but before the appearance of the second, the subjects of which are listed here for the first time. The conditions and terms are unaltered except for the fact that Colnaghi has been replaced as 'Agent for the Author' by 'Dr. Francis Bidou, No.15, Oxenden-street' and subscriptions are also taken in 'at Mr. Tomkison's, Dean-street, Soho; Mr. Kelly's Music Warehouse, Pall-Mall' and (for a time at least) 'at the Office of the True Briton, No. 363, Strand'. Both of Soane's copies of the advertisement however have this last-mentioned distributor scored out in pen & ink. Only three numbers were ever published (q.v.).
