B. Dodd and T. Reily's four-volume edition of Lady Mary Wortley Montagu's letter was first published in 1771. ESTC t176018.

Copy Notes Inscribed in ink on both front free-endpapers Eliza Smith / Albion Place. Elizabeth Smith became Soane's wife in 1784; the Soane Museum also has Mrs Soane's copy of the 1803 edition of Mary Wortley Montagu's collected works (q.v.).

Binding C18th calf, blind roll-tool borders, gilt double-rule spines, red spine-labels. Four volumes bound in two.
