Single quarter sheet, verso blank, with drop-head title headed 'London,' and dated in MS. July 1798. In this copy the blank space for designating the latest number to have appeared is inscribed in ink IVth. With details for six other previous works by Richardson advertised on the same sheet. The new Vitruvius Britannicus was originally issued in 10 parts from 4 June 1796 to 26 December 1801, and issued complete in one volume with the title-page dated 1802 (q.v.); the favourable public response led to the appearance a second volume.
