Anonymous. By François Raguenet. Translated from Les monumens de Rome, Paris 1700 (2nd edition 1702), and reissued in 1723 (q.v.) and 1724 (q.v.). With a dedication to the Earl of Burlington, dated August 20, 1721 and signed Robert Samber, presumably the translator. ESTC t169370; Schudt 523.

Copy Notes The two rear endpapers inscribed in ink with an index to the buildings and monuments described in the text; annotations in ink by the same hand, not Soane's, at pp. 63, 95 and 132.

Binding C18th sprinkled calf, gilt double-rule borders.
