This was the first monograph on Fonthill Abbey, the building of which was completed in 1813. The text is anonymous but may be by Storer. The initial leaf (A1) is blank. BAL, Early printed books, no. 3170.
Binding Original C19th grey paper boards with a printed paper label, 'Views Of The Abbey At Fonthill, Wiltshire: Accompanied With A Particular Description Of That Superb Edifice.', pasted on the upper cover. Spine direct-lettered in ink 'Storer's Fonthill Abbey. 1812'.
