Lugt 10672. The final page is blank. The sale fetched nearly £6000 (ODNB). Sir Mark Masterman Sykes was chiefly known as a book collector; his library was disposed of at three sales held by R.H. Evans, the first commencing on 11 May 1824 (q.v.). A two-part sale of his collections of English portraits and prints was held by Sotheby, also in spring 1824 (Lugt 10630 and 10670).
