Probably printed for and distributed by the author in a format designed for binding up with periodicals/magazines containing exhibition reviews of the kind he deplored.

Copy Notes Unopened. Inscribed in ink on first page of dedication To J. Soane Esqr. R. A. with the Author's/ respects. Bound (1) with Carey's Observations and correspondence, referring to the "Appeal of the directors," ..., 1829 (q.v.).
