The first leaf is blank. A collection of poems (in Greek, Latin and Hebrew) by members of various Cambridge colleges in commemoration of William, Duke of Gloucester who died in 1700 aged eleven. The dedication to his mother, Princess Anne (later Queen Anne), is signed by Thomas Greene, master of Corpus Christi College (1698--1716). ESTC r22247.

Copy Notes Without the preliminary blank leaf recorded in ESTC and included the above collation. Lower edge trimmed by the binder, with loss of text. Bound (2) in a collection of poetry.

Binding C18th half sprinkled calf, marbled-paper boards, gilt-tooled spine, green morocco spine label gilt-lettered 'Poems'. Later numbered '107' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
