A reply to Samuel Parker's Tentamina physico-theologica de Deo, 1665, by the physician and antiquary Nathaniel Fairfax. The first leaf [A1] is blank; the two final leaves contain a list of 'Books to be Sold by Robert Boulter ...'. ESTC r6759.

Copy Notes Without the initial blank leaf. Inscribed in ink on title-page Samuell Marow / 1674./ finis coronat opus, and correcting 'Tentamine' to 'Tentamina'. Other inscriptions have been inked through.

Binding C17th sheep, blind double-ruled borders, later red spine-label and gilt-lettered spine date.
