Copy Notes Bound (2) in a collection of miscellaneous catalogues mostly published between 1779 and 1785, including the Royal Academy Exhibition catalogues for 1779, 1782, 1783, 1785 and 1795 (qq.v.). Contents list for the volume inscribed in ink on the front free-endpaper in a late C18th hand. The final item, Miss Linwood's Exhibition of pictures, [1799] (q.v.) is a later insertion in the same hand. This list is re-numbered in red ink by G[eorge] B[ailey] noting the removal previous to 1837 (and probably prior to Soane's purchase of the volume) of Baretti's Guide through the Royal Academy, 1781. Front free-endpaper additionally inscribed in ink John Soane, with traces of a former ownership label on verso. Inscribed in ink on the final free-endpaper in a flamboyant calligraphic hand Ireland.

Binding C18th quarter white sheep, blue paper boards, spine ink-lettered 'Miscellaneous / Catalogues &c.'. Later numbered '16' in a series of sale catalogue volumes.
