The year of the sale is not given but the catalogue may be dated to 1805. Not in Lugt, where two further sales of Edward Poore's collections are recorded on 4--5 and 19--20 April 1805 (Lugt 6925, 6935). Includes an advertisement at the end for the latter sale by Mr Richardson of 'Mr. Poor's Collection of Prints, Pictures, Antique Gems, and Vases, from Herculaneum, &c' (q.v.). The final leaf lists 'Books Omitted' with lots numbers 167*, 167**, 1043--1053.

Copy Notes Extensive pencil markings, prices systematically recorded against lots of the fifth and sixth days. Bound in a collection of sale catalogues of 'Articles Of Virtu', 1798 to 1832.

Binding Later C19th half calf, maroon binder's cloth boards. Numbered '22' in a series of sale catalogue volumes.
