[2], 15--27, [1] p. ; 21.5 cm. (4º)

Lugt 7944. The text begins on the title-page verso with the 'Second Day's Sale. Tuesday, March 12, 1811'; the pagination suggests that there was a separate catalogue for a 'First Day's Sale' prior to March 12th, but this is not in Lugt which gives the number of pages as '14 (p. 14 à 27)'. A note at the foot of p. 27 announces that 'The Paintings, of which separate Catalogues may be had, belonging to Mr. Richards, together with a Collection by Old Masters, will be sold To-morrow.' According to Lugt this catalogue, which is not in the Soane Museum, had 8 pages totalling 119 lots.

Copy Notes Unannotated. Bound in a collection of sale catalogues of 'Articles Of Virtu', 1798 to 1832.

Binding Later C19th half calf, maroon binder's cloth boards. Numbered '22' in a series of sale catalogue volumes.

Reference Number 4993
