Edward Brown (or Browne), physician and traveller, travelled in the Low Countries, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, and northern Greece between August 1668 and December 1669. All but one plate are signed by John Oliver. With publisher's advertisements on the last page of letterpress and final blank leaf. Wing B5109; ESTC r19778.

Copy Notes Imperfect; wanting one of the six plates recorded in ESTC. Bound after the copy of Brown's earlier travel book, A brief account of some travels in Hungaria, Servia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Thessaly, Austria, Styria, Carinthia, Carniola, and Friuli, 1673 (q.v.).The title-page is annotated in ink with the page references for the four sections.

Binding C17th calf, blind double-ruled covers and spine, red spine-label, white-lettered 'Dr / Browns / Travels'.
