Title-page printed in red and black, with Supplement misspelled 'Suppplement' on the title-page and half-title. Vulliamy's Some considerations on the subject of public clocks, particularly church clocks had appeared in 1828. The clock now in the No. 13 Breakfast Parlour of the Soane Museum, almost certainly designed by Soane himself, was bought from Vulliamy in 1835 for £43 14s.

Copy Notes With an ALs in ink dated Pall Mall / June 4 1830 soliciting Soane's acceptance of the work which the author has prepared for circulation in response to a very unwarrantable attack / upon my character as a clock maker. Bound in a collection of pamphlets.

Binding C19th half dark green roan, blind double-rule borders, marbled paper boards, gilt double-rule spine gilt-lettered 'Martin's New Inventions &c. &c. &c.'. Bound by Edwin Hutchinson for 3s., 17 December 1830, 'Half roan, lettered'. (Archives 7/15/8).
