Folded sheet, first verso and conjugate leaf blank. Drop-head title. Inscribed in ink by Jas Jennings as Hon. Sec. Reports the resolutions for the purpose of forming a new literary institution, 'Samuel White Sweet, Esq. in the chair'. An attempt to reconstitute the Institution which had survived since 1808 but was foundering. The new scheme was described in the enclosed Prospectus of the New Surrey Institution, catalogued separately (q.v.).

Copy Notes Folded as a letter enclosing the copy of the Prospectus and addressed in ink John Soane Esq / 12 [sic] Lincoln's Inn Fields, with red wax seal and postal stamp. Inscribed in ink by Soane 15 / Surrey new / Institution.
