Sir, I am directed by the Committee of Managers to inform you, that James Jennings, Esq., will deliver, gratuitously, on Friday the first of November, ... a lecture on the history and utility of literary institutions. That the following courses of lectures will be delivered in the ensuing season: ... Knight Spencer, Secretary.

Drop-head title. Conjugate leaf blank. The other lectures announced are by Goldsworthy Gurney on the elements of chemical science, W. Crotch on music, and Charles Woodward, 'gratuitously', on pneumatics and electricity. The final closure of the Institution is announced for 25 March 1823.
