Engr. card ; 10.8 cm. x 15.5 cm.
Signed by Robert Whitworth and Robert Mylne, F.R.S. The plan shows the course from Boulters new pound lock, or Taplow Mill head to the rails head, between Isleworth and Twickenham. Mylne, a civil engineer and architect, made his name in winning the competition to design a bridge over the Thames at Blackfriars in 1760, and bridges and canal-works formed an important part of his practice.
