Parisian daily newspaper. Unpaginated, four pages to each issue. Unmarked. Two runs of three and eleven consecutive issues respectively are in the Soane Museum. Founded in 1815, Le Constitutionnel, as a liberal and anti-clerical newspaper, underwent several changes of name in its attempts to elude government censorship but by 1830 it had become the official organ of the July Monarchy under Thiers.
