The 1814 edition of the Laws of the Royal Academy Schools (q.v.) incorporated the reforms in the running of the schools passed by the General Assembly since the [1797?] edition (q.v.). This early issue has a preliminary leaf reading 'The President and Council, taking into consideration the want of Efficiency and Arrangement in the existing Laws and Regulations ... Resolve, That the following Regulations be submitted to the General Assembly, and with their Concurrence, ... be adopted as Laws of the Royal Academy', and was evidently circulated for consultation before being ratified.

Copy Notes The Soane copy has an additional, separately circulated bifolium 'Addenda. School Of Painting. ...' (q.v.) loosely inserted at the end.
