[London]: [1832].
[4] p. ; 25.1 cm. (4°)

Folded half-sheet, final verso blank. Drop-head title. Promoted at the time of the passage of Thomas Sadler's Bill for regulating the labour of children of 1832 when it was being held up at the Committee stage and then the general election that ensued following the passage of the Reform Bill of 1832. Includes an extract from Sadler's speech moving the second reading of the Bill in March 1832. Lord Ashley re-introduced Sadler's Bill into the new Parliament but it was Lord Althorp's 'Factory Act' of 1833 that prevailed reducing the effectiveness of Sadler's proposals and the intentions of the new Society.
