Printed leaflet describing the Church of Scotland's India Mission and canvassing subscriptions to it to be received by the members of the Corresponding Committee of the Scotch Presbytery in London.

Copy Notes Inscribed in ink on the final page as an addition to the names of members of the Corresponding Committee receiving subscriptionsAlso / Mrs Pirie, Windmill Place, Camberwell/ who is endeavouring to raise five hundred/ pounds in aid of this cause./ 26th March 1836. Bound with a copy of Alexander Duff's address The Church of Scotland's India mission, 1835 (q.v.) likewise inscribed by Mrs Pirie, and with a letter to Soane from Mrs. Jean Pirie dated 26 March [1836] presenting this material and requesting his support. Mrs Pirie was wife of Alderman John Pirie (1781--1851) of Berwick and Camberwell, who became Lord Mayor in 1844. He was a member of the London Emigration Committee and became President of St Thomas's Hospital in 1842.
