Bifolium, final verso blank. Drop-head title. Signed at the end: 'J. Perry, Author Of "The New System," 3, Adam Street, Adelphi, London.' and dated 'September, 1821.' Not to be confused with Soane's friend the newspaper editor of the same name, James Perry was a schoolmaster and author of The principles of the Perryian system of education (3 vols, ca. 1823) who founded the Perryian Modern Schools at 14, New Street, Bishopgate Street, London. Page 3 includes advertisements for his Outlines of a new system of education and for obtaining details of schools that have adopted the new system. 'This "Address To Parents, &c." may be had gratis, on personal application, or, by letter (post paid).'
