Copy Notes Attached to an ALs dated 2 December 1834 signed by A:E: Jenkins on behalf of the committee of management, requesting Soane's agreement to become a vice-president of the institution, with a draft of Soane's reply in the hand of his assistant on the blank conjugate leaf declining the honour on the grounds that he is already connected with / several of a somewhat similar nature.
