The author, a shoemaker in Norwich, published a dozen or more books on astronomy and astrology. This work may have been issued in appendix to copies of the 1826 edition of his Mythological astronomy (q.v.). Some copies have a leaf following the title-page listing other works by Mackey, not present in the Soane copy.
Copy Notes Bound last and possibly issued with Mackey's Mythological astronomy (q.v.) and A companion to the mythological astronomy (q.v.).
Binding C18th calf, gilt double-ruled boards and spine, black morocco spine-label. Bound by Edwin Hutchinson for 2s. 3d., 19 June 1830. (Spiers Box).
