Copy Notes Page references listed in ink on stub of final free-endpaper. Bookseller's notations in pencil on front pastedown and pencil price -s2-d6 on first rear free-endpaper. Engraved title-page inscribed in ink at foot of title caption h-k; another ink inscription obscured at the head of the platemark. A copy of 'Senecæ &c.', format not specified, was bought from Thomas Boone on 17 October 1808 for 4s. 6d. (Spiers Box) but cannot be securely identified with this work.

Binding C17th calf, blind double-ruled borders with blind-tooled corner fan ornaments, gilt-tooled spine compartments, spine-label lost but traces of two tooled spine-titles.
